Nike Just Gave the Iconic Air Jordan 1 a Killer Flyknit Upgrade

The classic Air Jordan 1, which has been a sneakerhead staple since 1985, just got an upgrade befitting 2017.

The classic high-top silhouette and iconic red-and-black colorway are left untouched. But the rubber has been scrapped in favor of Flyknit—a breathable knitted fabric that’s all the rage.

You’ll get additional ventilation and flexibility while earning some style points to boot.

Also worth flaunting are the signature Swoosh and Wings logos as well as a graphic “1985 2017” imprint on the inside.
