March 26 is Nike Air Max Day 2020. And as usual, Nike is celebrating the anniversary of its groundbreaking, Tinker Hatfield-designed sneaker’s 1987 release with a slew of special drops.
Leading the pack this year are a duo of Air Max models adorned an inverted variant of the cult-favorite duck camouflage print that first debuted in 2013.
Hypebeast notes that the hunter-worthy pattern’s original hues are flipped to red with black accents on an Air Max 90, while the futuristic Air Max 2090’s camo is partially hidden by a transluscent black upper.
A glistening precious metals “Metallic” pack—previously only available via the Nike By You customization service—features rose gold, silver and gold takes on the Air Max 90, all of which get a bright white upper and color-matched laces.
Rounding out the Air Max Day 2020 offerings are the Air Max 2090 in its original Italian sports car-inspired blue, red and white colorway, as well as a “lava-glow” edition with pink pastels for ladies exclusively.
