If it was good enough for the hallowed wrists of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, the Omega Speedmaster, aka “The Moonwatch” is probably good enough for you.

The new limited-edition Omega Apollo 11 50th Anniversary timepiece is just the latest Speedmaster to pay tribute to the moon landing as a limited edition release.

Powered by the new Caliber 3861 movement, it has a 42mm stainless steel case and a 18-karat Moonshine Gold bezel with black ceramic ring and Ceragold tach scale.

The main dial is gray, with black sub-dials, a black track on the periphery, and a Moonshine Gold laser engraving of Aldrin triumphantly stepping onto the lunar surface at 9 o’clock.

A second laser engraving of an astronaut’s footprint can be found on the moon-surface caseback, along with the famous quote, “THAT’S ONE SMALL STEP FOR A MAN – ONE GIANT LEAP FOR MANKIND.”

It also has a matching steel bracelet and arrives in a presentation box with an additional Velcro strap with black-coated cork, a lunar module display stand, two mission patches, two engraved plates, and a strap-changing tool.

The Omega Speedmaster Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Watch is available in stores in July 2019 and limited to 6,969 pieces.
