Panerai’s Limited Edition Dive Watch Now Comes In Military Green
The gorgeous Submersible Verde Militare 42mm is ready for battle.
With its militaristic new green Verde Militare (PAM1055), Sylvester Stallone‘s favorite watchmaker Panerai expands its Submersible dive watch line with a new colorway and the company’s new P.900 movement (mechanism). It also marks the creation of what will surely be a sought-after collectible in the future.
In a nod to the company’s history as the watchmaker for the Royal Italian Navy, the Verde Militare is classically military in appearance with a green rubber strap to match its dial, which has luminous hour and minute marks. The timepiece features steel construction and specs that should be familiar to fans of the Submersibles: 300 meters of water resistance, a 42 mm case, and of course the date at 3 o’clock.
It’s really a minimalist take on the classic dive watch look—literally, as 42 mm is on the small side for tool watches—but it’s just as reliable as the more ornate models, with automatic self-winding and an impressive nearly 3-day power reserve.
The Submersible Verde Militare isn’t quite as costly as other models, priced at $8,700 USD.
There’s a catch, though—it’s only available online and only 500 have been made. Order yours here.
