This week, the best new sneaker drop we came across was an interesting upgrade on a long-running classic: the Puma Clyde.

Embodying the spirit of perennially stylish Knicks legend Walt “Clyde” Frazier, the sneaker boasts a classic court-ready silhouette, but with Puma’s signature side stripes. The new release, the Clyde Sock, stands out however because striped socks are literally built into the sneaker.

The $120 kicks, available online and in select stores on April 13, come in an assortment of eye-catching colorways, with corresponding socks so you will never mismatch: black with white stripes, white with black stripes, white with red and blue stripes, and blue with orange and white stripes.

The attached, fully-knitted socks feature Puma’s patented evoKNIT technology, which we hope keeps ’em smelling clean because you’re not gonna want to throw the whole shoe in the washer and dryer.

But those weren’t the only sneakers to turn heads this week. An honorable mention goes to the latest colorway of the Adidas Iniki Runner, a red-and-white running shoe made of suede and neoprene. They also go for $120.
