What it is: House of Horology Bedlam Light Watch, $490
Why we like it: The House of Horology, named for the science of measuring time, currently sports only one model, but by God, they do it well. The Bedlam is a rugged, substantial timepiece that comes in both light and dark shades. (We prefer the light; screw Darth Vader.) It’s water-resistant up to to 330 feet which, unless you’re a free-diver, should do you just fine. The time-keeping part is inspired by Swiss craftsmanship, and if there’s anything the Swiss do well, it’s keeping time. And chocolate. And cheese. And, of course, yodeling.
