Roger Dubuis Teams With Lamborghini For Watch Inspired By Huracán Supercar
The $49,000 timepiece costs more than many real cars.
Swiss watchmaker Roger Dubuis’ new release has every bit of the energy of the supercar that shares its name. The all-black Excalibur Huracán was inspired by Dubuis’s collaboration with storied Italian carmaker Lamborghini. And in Lambo tradition, the watch bears a completely original construction style and sleek, souped-up vibe.
In a 45mm black titanium case this “superwatch” hums along powered by the watchmaker’s signature automatic RD630 calibre movement.
The face is designed specifically to echo the look of a speeding Lambo wheel. Other supercar-worthy details include a strut-bar bridge that mimics similar design features from the Huracán itself.
The striking timepeice is a continuation of a partnership made in luxury watch heaven beginning when the two brands first partnered for the 2018 Dubuis Excalibur Aventador, a limited run skeletonized beauty that for its cost and scarcity was incredibly popular.
