Seiko and Lowercase Team Up For New Collection of Prospex Watches
These stylish dive watches are going deep with striking new colorways
Seiko has teamed with Lowercase, a Japanese fashion label, for three new dive watches in its Prospex “tuna” line. They combine Seiko’s rep for producing durable tool watches with a striking, chunky streetwear feel.
These digital timepieces have the specs we’ve learned to expect from the eminently practical Japanese watchmaker.
Here are just a few of those features:
- Substantial 49.5 mm cases and aluminum bezels
- They’re water-resistant down to 200 meters
- Other standard features like an EL light, alarm, and stopwatch
- Calendar and power indicator
These “tunas” are meant to last a long time, as well. They’re quartz-powered and that’s backed up by a solar-charging movement–hence the power indicator, which lets you know when it’s time to get a little sun.
The Seiko Lowercase collabs come with silicone straps and feature three colorways, including a striking “Coke”-style red and black choice.
These currently go for between $261 and $280 USD and you can check them out here, at Seikowatches.com.
