If you blink, you just might miss it. That’s a fitting way to look at the latest Shinola watch launch, due to hit physical retail stores on Black Friday and sure to sell out quickly — speedily, even. The Shinola Canfield Speedway Lap 03 is billed as an “exclusive, in-store retail experience,” with the specs and style points to match.

Would you expect anything less from the Detroit-based brand, which makes some of the coolest watches on the market and boasts a stunning lifestyle hotel in the Motor City?

It’s the third iteration of the Canfield Speedway Lap Watch, and seeing as the first two sold out right away, it’s more than likely that this timepiece won’t be on store shelves for very long.

The sleek black-on-black watch features a versatile and travel-friendly 44mm case diameter and is outfitted with a textured black Italian leather strap in an homage to road-ready watches and Prohibition’s master mechanics, who pushed auto performance to the limit.

A tachymeter scale on the bezel can be used to convert time into speed travelled, and crisp design touches like the use of the numeral “60” at the 12 o’clock position set this watch apart even further.

Hits of Shinola’s signature orange pop out throughout the watch, including on the crown, making for a luxury watch with unique touches to satisfy even the most ardent, seasoned timepiece enthusiast.

If you managed to snag the first two editions of the Canfield Speedway, then this third watch launch is a must-own. And if you missed out on the first two? Now’s your chance to make it yours.

Like we said, you’ll have to act quickly to add this timepiece to your collection: It’s available at only select Shinola retail locations few and far between, from Venice, California to Denver, Boston and four locations in the brand’s home state of Michigan (its Canfield shop included).

Speed and style abound with the Shinola Canfield Speedway, and it’s a watch worth adding to your holiday wish list.
