Luxury hospitality group sbe is continuing to expand the SLS portfolio with its first property in the Middle East.

SLS Dubai Hotels & Residences will open its doors in June 2020 and stand as one of the tallest residences in the region.

The highly anticipated 75-story tower will house 254 sleek hotel rooms designed by lauded UAE interior designer Paul Bishop, as well as 371 residential units and 321 hotel apartments. By Dubai’s standards, that’s colossal.

Fitting the SLS mold of sophisticated luxury, the rooms will be flecked with contemporary art, like Michael Moebius’ bubble gum portraits, and modern accents that characterize the brand’s culture-heavy DNA and identifiable aesthetic.

Upon arrival, hotel guests will enter through the ground atrium and take an express elevator to the opulent Sky Lobby that sits 71 stories high. Floor-to-ceiling windows ensconce a deluxe lounge and mixology bar with panoramic views of the “City of Gold”.

Dining options will build on sbe’s household brands like the celebrated Italian restaurant Fi’lia, which will serve as the hotel’s all-day eatery with active food stations and a display kitchen for guest entertainment.

A more elevated option for dinner will be at Carna, a contemporary steakhouse helmed by award-winning Italian butcher Dario Cecchin. The restaurant features a dedicated bar, private dining rooms, wine cellars and an open kitchen.

The property will also feature SLS’ custom spa concept, Ciel. Amenities will include seven treatment rooms, dedicated male and female thermal areas with steam rooms, plunge pools,  relaxation rooms, as well as a full-service grooming salon, a state-of-the-art gym, and two outdoor terraces.

SLS Dubai Hotels & Residences’ grandest feature will be found on the roof. Two infinity pools cascade off the edge 75 stories high and offer a stunning 360-degree view of the Dubai skyline and record-setting Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest skyscraper.

The buzzy day party outpost Privilege will also be nestled up top, drawing party and sun seekers alike. It goes without saying, a swim at the SLS is guaranteed to be the most luxurious and unrivaled sightseeing in town.

The new digs will feature all the glitz, sophistication and deluxe amenities that travelers love across the SLS roster, but brought to new heights in Dubai, where the sky is truly the limit.
