Danner Celebrates 60 Years of James Bond With Limited Edition Boots
Two styles of rugged Danners worn by 007 in “No Time To Die” and “Spectre” are back in stock and on sale.
When the world’s most famous secret agent relies on a pair of boots from a legendary heritage brand, you can be certain they’re more than worthy of owning — now, two pairs of Danner boots worn by 007 are back on the market starting tomorrow (Thursday, October 13th).
Both the tactical Danner Tanicus, as worn in No Time To Die, and the Danner Mountain Light II — as seen in 2015’s Spectre — will be on sale online for an extremely (extremely) limited time.
Danner boots, made with care by the Portland, Oregon company certainly have the pedigree to grace the wardrobe of James Bond.
The set of rugged, effective and sleek yet functional boots are just the latest impressive drop in a year packed full of all things James Bond, as the unflappable spy celebrates 60 years with limited-edition Scotch, stylish tributes and more.
For good measure, each pair is delivered in packaging worthy of 007, including a custom box embossed with special-edition anniversary logos.
The specs on each set of of boots are exactly what one would expect from a pair of boots worn by Bond, James Bond — the Tanicus features waterproof GORE-TEX lining and impressive waterproof suede uppers.
The classic Mountain Light II is also impossibly well-designed, now featuring rich black Horween leather that only gets better with age (we have a feeling Bond would approve).
The Mountain Light II clocks in at a splurge-worthy yet agreeable $450, while the Tanicus 60th Anniversary retails for $240 — those prices alone make each boot likely to sell out extremely quickly.
It’s no surprise fans have been clamoring for these exceptionally impressive boots: It’s not that often that you get the chance to lace up a piece of spy-worthy heritage and history.
