This $353,000 Richard Mille Is A Quartz Gray Dream Watch
The latest timepiece from the ultra-luxe brand favored by Jay-Z, Drake, Rafael Nadal, Ed Sheeran and Sly Stallone.

Be it making the thinnest watch in the world or debuting a watch with a hefty price tag of a cool $1 million, there’s plenty to be said about the precision, engineering and artistry that goes into each Richard Mille timepiece.
And what the latest edition of the Richard Mille RM 65-01 Chronograph does is raise the bar even further, with a stylish new case colorway along for the ride.

About five years of development went into the RM 65-01 itself, all part of the haute horologist’s “tireless quest for innovation.”

It’s also billed as a “highly complex sports timepiece” with a luxurious aesthetic, and it now comes in quartz gray for an even more streamlined approach.
Each section of the watch is color-coded on the 44mm dial itself, and the movement housed within is the most complex from Richard Mille yet.

Just like its black carbon forebear, the latest iteration of the RM 65-01 boasts an automatic winding split-seconds movement, with a seconds counter positioned at 6’o-clock, a 30-minute counter at 3’o-clock and a 12-hour counter at 9’o-clock.

Quite literally every second of the day is spoken for with this technical yet luxurious Richard Mille timepiece, and that’s not a bad thing in the slightest.

The watch is also built with an impressive 60-hour power reserve, and the Grade 5 titanium bridges and baseplate ensure durability and smooth operation throughout.
As one might expect with such a high level of technical prowess and luxurious artistry, this watch (a work of art unto itself) nets a high cost: Approximately $353,000, but that price gets you access to a watch unlike any other.
