Todd Snyder x New Balance Debut ‘Dark Ale’ Sneaker
Pour one out for New Balance’s latest beer-inspired, limited-edition dad sneaker.
New Balance has teamed up with designer Todd Snyder once again for a limited edition, ale-inspired sneaker.
The new Todd Snyder x New Balance 990v3 Dark Ale is like the older, more full-bodied brother of the Pale Ale sneaker that came out last year, which had a lighter, creamier colorway.
These kicks give the classic New Balance 990 silhouette a boozy facelift with a white and off-white outsole, beige suede and micro-mesh fabric upper, and vegetable tanned leather accents that deepen in color over time for a smooth caramel colorway that’s reminiscent of a cold, tall glass of dark ale.
A carbon fiber spring plate and Encap technology give the sneakers the perfect bounce, cushion, and support.
Todd Snyder and New Balance previously collaborated on a “Dark and Stormy” sneaker inspired by a classic summer rum cocktail. So clearly these two brands are no strangers to thirsty tributes.
