Just a week after debuting his snazzy new Q Blackout watch with Timex, Todd Snyder unveiled an extremely limited-edition New Balance collab called the NB992 10th Anniversary.

The luxe running shoe is the first Snyder New Balance since last month’s IPA-inspired “Stony Beach” sneaker. It’s an elevated update on the New Balance 992, aka the favorite sneaker of turtlenecked Apple founder Steve Jobs.

To celebrate the 992 silhouette and commemorate 10 years in business of his namesake style brand, Snyder launched his latest take on a classic New Balance that’s described as “a symphony of grays in vegetable-tanned leather.”

The sneaker features “2011” on the left heel, “2021” on the right and comes with three shoelace color options, all in shades of white and gray.

Gray is not only the signature shade of the 992, but the hue is also evocative of the New York skyline and a longstanding favorite color of Snyder’s.

“New York and its skyline have been a longstanding inspiration for me, and gray has been a signature color in our design since the beginning,” Snyder said in a statement announcing the shoe.

“So, for our 10th anniversary, I wanted to create a version of the 992 that felt like a favorite room in a skyscraper, a sort of gentleman’s library – a couch, bookshelves, a fireplace and a bar cart.”

The NB992 10th Anniversary is available for pre-order beginning December 1 exclusively on www.toddsnyder.com.
