Vans Classic Era Sneaker Gets Stitch-Heavy ‘Vision Voyage’ Makeover
An eye-catching update to the original action sports shoe.
Vans became the original skateboarding shoe back in 1976 when the Van Doren family released the iconic style #95, aka the Vans Era.
The classic silhouette, sturdy construction, and padded collar withstood the demands of gritty ’70s-era skaters carving concrete pools and city streets, and became not only the blueprint for skate performance footwear for decades to come, but its multi-panel construction inspired countless sneaker designs.
The Vans Era has seen numerous style updates and colorways since then, and the new Era 3RA Vision Voyage pack is just the latest twist on the classic kicks. The most notable feature of the new Era update is the pronounced stitching at each intersecting panel of the sneaker.
Every original stitching placement extends and transforms the original canvas with multiplied deco stitching, chunky toe bumpers and three heel scabs. The Era 3RA will be available in three colorways including navy, black and true white.
