Will Smith Reveals a Custom ‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’-Inspired Nike Air
We’d like to take a minute, just sit right there, to tell you how he came to own these kicks called ‘Bel Air’.
Over twenty years since it went off the air, we still get the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song stuck in our heads on a regular basis. Reruns play on cable every night, SNL aired a hilariously grim parody just this year, and there’s even talk that a gender-flipped reboot called The Fresh Princess of Bel-Air is on the way.
In other words, there’s still a hell of a lot of love for the tale of a kid from West Philly living with his 1% relatives in one of L.A.’s toniest neighborhoods.
Now we’ve got the fresh kicks to go along with the ’90s freshest sitcom (Sorry, Wings.)

The style mavens at Hypebeast have the scoop:
This special delivery was sent to Smith from @thebutcherbrand. The kicks see Nike’s Air More Uptempo get a Fresh Prince of Bel Air twist as the logo is imagined on the nostalgic sneaker. A wide selection of colors make their way onto the white base to channel the classic ’90s show.

Damn. It really is like that catchy-as-hell theme song was reborn as a pair of sneakers. And who could hate on that?
