Luxury travel brand Black Tomato is joining forces with the James Bond franchise once again for Bond 2.0, which allows wannabe superspies to experience getaways inspired by 007’s on-screen exploits.

Expanding on the high-flying 2023 launch of Bond-inspired itineraries in five European locales, Black Tomato x 007 now whisks travelers across 13 additional countries, including India, Morocco, Chile, Mexico, Japan, Thailand and Jamaica.

“Elegantly showcasing 007’s worldwide production reach, from Jamaica, used in many films including the first film, Dr. No (1962) to Thailand, used in The Man With The Golden Gun (1974), which is celebrating 50 years since release; to pivotal moments in Japan, Istanbul, and even the wilds of Iceland, each newly created experience is closely tied to the films’ rich history,” said Black Tomato in a statement announcing the new excursions.

Travelers can now also piece together an itinerary following an entire film. For example, locations in Mexico City, London, Italy, Austria and Morocco were all used in 2015’s Spectre. And the collaboration’s latest iteration additionally features automotive-focused experiences in Scotland, Iceland, Norway, which are further detailed below.

Then guests take a helicopter to The Macallan Estate for a private tasting of the brand’s finest Scotch whiskies, including the 1962 bottle sipped by Raoul Silva in Skyfall.

Evoking 007’s thrilling escape from billionaire Gustav Graves’ ice palace in Die Another Day, guests zipline over jagged blue glaciers and climb the soaring frozen walls of Svinafellsjökull, aka the largest ice cap in Europe. Guests then slalom between floating icebergs on Jökulsárlón lagoon, reminiscent of those seen in the opening shot of A View To A Kill , to sip Bollinger bubbly and refuel with a three-course gourmet picnic.

Tom Marchant, cofounder of Black Tomato, explained that an uptick in luxury adventure travel demand inspired the brand to expand its Bond-focused offerings. “With the global set-jetting trend at its peak and acting on this growing desire for Bond trips beyond Europe, now feels apt to expand our library of extraordinary 007 inspired journeys,” he said. “We receive inquiries every week from travelers seeking to plan a trip specifically inspired by locations they’ve seen on screen.”

For all trips, clients will receive original call sheets, and bespoke documents including exclusive insight into the locations provided by the film franchise’s producers. All trips will also include a free, exclusively commissioned Dr. No-inspired attaché case by Globe-Trotter, the official luggage maker for the 007 brand.
