The race to lure global travelers to exotic destinations is set to take on a whole new meaning in the years ahead, and Saudi Arabia’s first-ever W Hotel has just dropped a tantalizing teaser of what the resort will look like.

Marriott International recently announced plans to build both a W Hotel and a JW Marriott property, and its stunning locale looks like something out of a Bond movie.

Both properties are slated to be part of the out-of-this-world NEOM Trojena Ski Resort, the planned host of the 2029 Asian Winter Games and a remarkable-looking destination you’ve got to see to believe.

In addition to lodging, the complex will feature apartments and chalets, plus retail and dining options to complement its role as a year-round adventure sports hotspot.

The W Hotel is planned as part of Trojena’s Lake Village, nestled at the edge of an architectural lake. An exclusive spa, fitness center and W lounge spaces are also slated for the property.

The 500-room JW Marriott property, on the other hand, will be incorporated into The Bow as part of the NEOM Trojena resort: The Bow is planned “to be a futuristic water world which will combine nature with technology to make for a unique living environment.”

Marriott International notes plans for the substructure call for it to be surrounded by mountainscape and immersed in the water feature itself.

Sounds like a next-level lodging experience, no? Until its planned opening in 2026, travelers can only dream of what promises to be an exceptional journey toward the future.
