The model-turned-referee doesn’t need a whistle to get our attention.
It’s safe to say that at the height of her modeling career, Claudia Romani was one of the most ubiquitous models on the international scene. The now-33-year-old Italian beauty has appeared on every cover of every magazine foreign edition you can think of, from GQ to Playboy Italy to Cosmopolitan (UK) to FHM (Denmark) to Maxim’s editorial cousins in Italy and Greece.
This is all to say that, when this curvy brunette beauty stepped out in her hometown of Miami this weekend, we sat up and took notice.

But believe it or not, Romani’s modeling days are somewhat over: in 2014, the sultry starlet packed up her modeling career to qualify as a professional soccer referee in her native Italy. “‘Running around on the pitch with all those players and calling the shots is just an irresistible opportunity,” she told the Daily Mail at the time.
But from the looks of her Instagram account, Romani doesn’t seem so keen on giving up entirely on modeling just yet. Sure, soccer is just football for pasty Europeans, but we’ll admit it: we’d definitely watch it if more referees looked like Romani. And
