Back in 1987, ABC introduced us to the life of the Tanner family with Full House, an eight-season long sitcom that tugged at the heart strings no matter who you were. The West Coast clan was assembled by an all-star cast, including Bob Saget, John Stamos, Lori Loughlin, and a bunch of unknown child stars that we hoped would one day blossom into future Hollywood A-listers. That included Candace Cameron-Bure.
Candace turns 43 today, and the household name has come a long way since her time as D.J. Tanner. She’s continued thriving as an actor, danced her heart out on Dancing with the Stars, and even claimed a spot as co-host on daytime talk show, The View. And unless you’ve been hiding in a cave, you know that she’s even returned to her roots for Netflix’s spinoff revival, Fuller House.
