The Hot 10: Tara Reid
The blonde bombshell takes a break from chasing Sharknados to have a chat with Maxim.
Nearly 16 years ago, Tara Reid put on a tiny green bikini and offered Jeffrey Lebowski a $1000 blowjob. She was suddenly a sex symbol and she embraced the role, lasciviously purring her way through American Pie, Cruel Intentions, and Van Wilder: Party Liaison with bad intent. Her most recent films – SyFy’s Sharknado and its sequel Sharknado 2: The Second One- have taken Tara’s career in a different direction, making light of her debauched public persona while offering a chance to showcase her winningly bizarre comedic timing. She’s filming a third installment – because of course she is – and talked with Maxim between attacks.
If I weren’t an actress, I would be a racecar driver. I love fast cars.
My ultimate goal as an actress is to keep working and entertaining people, and be happy with it. I mean, I think you have chapters in your life and I’ve made a 360. I’m older now; I’m not in my twenties anymore. I feel like it’s a different time and that I’ve grown-up. I’m excited to play a woman and a mother, and those kinds of roles. I’d consider doing TV.
My favorite food is Italian food. I just love pasta. And I love cooking, it’s one of my favorite things to do.
My favorite thing is I’m wearing right now is Adidas tracksuits. I love sweatpants, they’re comfortable, casual. Like, they’re perfect. I have a million of them.
My favorite part of my body is my heart. I’m supersensitive; I feel for others and I’m very intuitive about other people’s feelings. If someone’s happy it makes me happy, when someone’s sad I feel their sadness and I want to make it better for them.
A man can get my attention by making me laugh. When a guy makes you laugh, you feel comfortable and it makes you happy. There’s no ‘Why is he doing this?’ or ‘Why is he doing that?’ It’s just stable and comfortable and you’re at ease.
A man can get my intimate attention by being confident, but not in a cocky way. Be who you are and be proud of it. I like that. For me, it’s a turn on. Cause you can always tell if that’s not the case.
My ideal date is something fun.Not too serious, especially when you first start dating someone. Something with a light, fun, cool atmosphere.
A deal breaker is if the guy is creepy and knows too much about me. Then I know he googled me.
My favorite spot to hang out is definitely my couch. I love watching movies and chilling out. I used to rather go out, but now I’ve just been so busy with carpets and events athat it’s like actual work. So coming home and just putting on my sweatpants after everything is the best.
Pick up “Sharknado 2:The Second One” on DVD and Digital HD, out now.
