Judge Kim Kardashian’s Book of Selfies By Its Cover
She broke the internet. Now, she wants to break the coffee table.
Kim Kardashian has collaborated with the art-house publishing imprint Rizzoli, which apparently heard good things about money, on a book of selfies that will be released this April. Because Kim Kardashian doesn’t half-ass a press tour, she jumpstarted the PR machine today by releasing an image of the book’s front cover, which shows her and her face and her sports bra and her breasts. The expression on her face is hard to parse (angry? tired? glamorous? tired of being glamorous?), but the message here is clear: “My selfie game is stronger than your selfie game.” We would not argue with that. She’s the old master of the genre, a latter day Vermeer in a pearl earing. The book is going to sell all of the copies. Publishing is making a comeback!
