Well, we knew it was coming after Justin Verlander proposed to Kate Upton on-field following the Astros’ World Series win. On Saturday, it happened.

Upton and Verlander tied the knot in a lavish, traditional ceremony at the Rosewood Castiglion Del Bosco resort with family, friends, and paparazzi in attendance.

This is the culmination of a relationship that’s been in the news since the pair began dating in 2014.

Upton has been a vocal fan of Verlander’s pitching, of course, even if she was more into the Yankees as a team, according to the New York Post.

Have to hand it to Verlander. Even if he was a terrible pitcher (and he is not), with this wedding, he’d still clearly be a winner.
