Katee Sackhoff Would Love to Play a Marvel Villain

Find out what villainess the Battlestar Galactica babe is down to play.

Not since Linda Hamilton in T2 has sci-fi nerdom been blessed with a death-dealing babe like Katee Sackhoff. Katee first got our blood pumping as Kara Thrace in Battlestar Galactica and has since cemented her status as a genre sex symbol with roles in Riddick and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

While we’ve watched our girl Katee roughhouse in a variety of roles, there is one specific genre we’re dying to see her take on: a Marvel film adaptation.

Her name has been tossed around for the forthcoming Captain Marvel  film, but in an interview with Playboy, Katee said she’d rather be bad: “No one has approached me about Captain Marvel. But I don’t know if I’d even want to play Captain Marvel. I would much rather play a villain and be nasty. It’s more fun.”

We support this.

When asked whether she’d be game to play anti-heroine Black Cat in the next Spider-Man film, the badass bombshell said, “Oh, 100% I’d do that! I love playing characters who are multilayered and multidimensional and have a darkness to them, which makes them more realistic and more fun to play.”

We last saw a formidable Felicity Jones take on playing Black Cat in 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but Katee would kill it too. She has one hell of a pedigree, after all.

Whatever the role, we just hope to see Katee on the big screen soon doing what she does best: kicking ass, taking names, and wearing the hell out of a latex jumpsuit.
