You may not have heard of Lindsey Pelas before her autumn dalliance with Houston Texans defensive end JJ Watt, but now’s as good a time as ever to pay attention. The 24-year-old Louisiana native has made a splash in the modeling world by masterfully using Instagram (like hundreds of other models) to build a loyal audience of 2.8 million devoted followers and land a shoot in Playboy.

“[Instagram]’s legitimized me a little bit,” she told FirstSlice in 2014. “It’s a very lucrative business. … For me, my thing is being super sexy, and it’s the bikini- and the glamour-type thing, so I try to keep [my page] geared toward my audience.”
