Madonna Posted a Photo of Pubes Shaved Into a Nike Swoosh and Grossed Out the Internet

Many still love Madonna, but let’s admit it, sometimes the Material Girl still goes off the rails. And social media isn’t a great environment for a celebrity who even at 58 still has impulse issues, especially when expressing politically-charged sentiments. 

Those feelings seem to be what inspired Madonna to post the image above on her social media feeds a couple of days ago. It seems fairly obvious that we’re not looking at her artfully shaven mound — we seem to be looking at the skin tone of a much younger woman. 

That didn’t stop some Twitter users from acting as if it was indeed a shot of Madonna herself and expressing a distinct lack of excitement about that. British journalist Piers Morgan, admittedly not known for being the nicest guy around and controversial in his own right, characterized much of the reaction.

Many of the funniest reactions, however, simply used a choice animated GIF to express their own dismay.

Madonna can keep her weird outbursts, we’ll just choose to remember the good times — which thankfully she recently reminded us of with some Instagrams she posted from a photo shoot with Harpers Bazaar.

We still don’t know, for what it’s worth, if she ever delivered on her promise to Hillary Clinton voters.
