Get to Know Maja Darving, Cristiano Ronaldo’s New Model Girlfriend

When we interviewed Cristiano Ronaldo for the December issue of Maxim, we found the most recognizable man in soccer pondering what he’d do following his incredible career. While his future after Real Madrid is up in the air, the soccer star reportedly has a new girlfriend to keep him grounded: The 19-year-old Danish model Maja Darving.

Darving, who has one of the sultriest Instagram accounts we’ve ever seen, is said to be dating the Portuguese football player, according to FHM. Their coupling comes after his highly-publicized split with Russian model and Maxim cover girl Irina Shayk.

“The teen was spotted watching Real Madrid play back in October, posting a photo of herself at a match to her Instagram account,” according to FHM. “There’s been no confirmation of the romance yet, but gorgeous Maja seems right up the footballing star’s street.”

So the evidence of a relationship is rather thin, I suppose, but it makes sense: Ronaldo’s been linked to series of models since he and Shayk broke up at the beginning of 2015.
While Ronaldo doesn’t have all the answers yet as to what comes next — “I like challenges and I like to win,” he told us — one thing is certain: no matter what he does, he’ll have a beautiful woman like Maja Darving on his arm.
