Last night Miss Nevada Nia Sanchez was crowned Miss USA, beating out runner-up Miss North Dakota Audra Mari. The 2013 winner, Erin Brady of South Glastonbury, Connecticut, passed her crown to her successor after a moderately grueling three-hour broadcast from the Baton Rouge Civic Center in Louisiana. Sanchez is the 63rd winner of the Miss USA competition.
Aside from her obvious good looks and incredible body, the 24-year-old is the first winner ever to represent Nevada, and is a fourth degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do (you’ve been warned).
The beauty queen will go on to represent the U.S. at the Miss Universe competition later this year. We’ll be rooting for you, Nia!
